Bait Ghamelico

Description

Dungeon areas with large amounts of vegetation, particularly Jungle type areas are known to house many different types of creatures. These places also are home to several types of monsters that are part of the mimic classification, which imitate creatures or item to catch prey. (Bone Collectors are also considered mimics, due to the occasional shape resmembling humans or animals that they may take)

This particular type of Ghamelico, both part of the Reptile and Mimic Classification, is known as the Bait Ghamelico.

Bait Ghamelicoes aren't as strong as their cousin species, but they make up for it with their clever patience and quick ambushes. They constantly scan their surroundings as they move, so they have a keen sense of whats around them and how to camouflage themselves relevant to where their prey is. It is however slightly imperfect at times, so those with a keen eye may be able to spot it.

Many seem to favor using their tail as a sort of fishing line, their advanced camouflage abilities can simulate any color, shiny surfaces, and even can give off light, as pictured above where the Ghamelico is disguising its end tail club as a rare crystal, even down to its mysterious floating movements.

They are also known to leave their tails out on the ground disguised as a dropped piece of loot or some such while hiding in wait.

Bait Ghameliceos tend stalk its prey to figure out what kind objects they seem attracted to. Depending on its target, the number things they are known to copy changes from fruit, flowers, other creatures, swords, and more. It can even use its entire body disguised as a huge pile of golden wealth for when it comes upon the extra greedy types.

So always be cautious when going through a dungeon and coming across something too good to be true right in your path.

Very cool concept and interesting architecture, though if I had to nitpick I would probably say the dude looks a little tiny here.
